A tool I use on every single cookie I decorate.

One of the main differences between glaze icing and royal icing is that you don’t need to use a lot of glaze on each cookie. If you use too much icing, it will roll off the edges of your cookie and as it dries it will develop cracks in the top of the icing. To keep that from happening, I use enough icing to cover the cookie and then use the angled icing spatula to spread the icing to the edges. These icing spatulas are great for cookie and cake/cupcake decorating. The handles are made with strategically placed grooves for comfort as your decorate.
